Road to La Habana

After spending a couple of days in Maria la Gorda, we were on our way back to La Habana. Suddenly, the chauffeur started mumbling about the car malfunctioning. The car was a Dodge Coronet from 1950 with a Hyundai engine. It's a well-known fact how difficult to get car spare parts in Cuba is, where even a flat tire is a big issue.

We freaked out for a while, we were worried about being completely stranded in the middle of nowhere.

With a bucket full of bolts and rusty tools, the man was able to fix the car. He wasn't worried, he didn't complain, he didn't ask for any help, he just did the job.
